Looking for music that sounds like Mephisto Walz’s Eternal Deep album.

What the title says. This album is one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever heard. Other goth music I like is Only Theatre of Pain album by CD, Adrenochrome by Sisters of mercy, horror vacui, twin tribes, paralyzed age. Thank you!

What are some actual goth bands that have a doom-ey sound like HIM’s Love Metal or That Band That Shall Not Be Named On This Sub?

Yes I know they aren’t actual/proper/true goth and more like goth metal but whatever. Looking for either more specifically like that or “actual” goth with similar sound. Specifically the super dark and heavy bass and the super deep almost droning male lead vocals. And the low key auto tune shit TO- does with the vocals in some songs

I’m not really a goth or at least I don’t think of myself as one but I will say this stuff is my jam once November swings around. It’s so fitting for when all the green turns to brown and it gets dark earlier. And smoking a cigarette to this music in the depths of winter on a full moon? The world lit up by the moonlight off snow as the world is like frozen in glass? Chills

i feel like i don’t learn enough about the subculture

I have searching and learning about the subculture a lot but it's only been tree years since i started. I wanted you to help me (if you want) yo still learning about bands that are not that popular, i Made a playlist but i feel like it's a long way till i finish it. On the other hand i wanted to know if someone can recommend me some films/documentaries about the subculture. I am a little bit obsessed about knowing more. Sorry, my english it's TRASH

more like Inkubus Sukkubus?

Inkubus Sukkubus was one of the few goth bands I could actually get a hold of back in the day when I first got into goth (I didn't have a mentor and this was the 90s). So they have a special place in my heart. But I'd love some suggestions for more goth music with a pagan vibe. I started looking around myself but uh… that quickly became frustrating.

Thanks!

Other energetic bands like Grave Pleasures/Beastmilk?

I'm looking for goth/deathrock/etc bands that sound alike to the energetic side of Grave Pleasures (FKA Beastmilk). I'm looking for a dark, empowering sound that may almost border on metal at times, with no cares, that makes you feel pumped up.

Something like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YUIjpLX3tBk

Why do goth band shirts always look like this?

Okay so maybe not always, but very often it seems you get band shirts that look like this – seemingly posterized to such an extent that you can barely tell who or what you're looking at unless you already know. And at least in some cases this seems to be an intentional choice rather than the result of limitations, since the same bands will have great album art, photos, or other designs that could likely be used instead or in addition, but aren't despite those same designs sometimes appearing on other items they mass-produce.

What is the reasoning here? Am I missing something? Do you enjoy how these kinds of designs look? Please let me know.

Ultimately taste is subjective and I'm not trying to insult anyone here. I love my favs and typically buy their merch no matter how I feel about how it looks; I just wish more of the designs were aligned with my tastes and am a bit confused as to why things are the way they are.
